Med-Aid is a system that aims to better optimize medical humanitarian aid, to make sure that needs are known and efforts are put in the right place. Hospitals can list their requirements for medicines and consumables. NGOs and aid organizations can use the hospital data to efficiently direct their efforts and help in the best way possible. Med-Aid contains close to 600 essential medicines in various formulations and close to 2 000 consumables covering A&E, theater, lab and neonatal care. It is intended for fast acting short-term relief in emergency situations.
